The Hills Above Possum Kingdom Lake is located on the northeast side of Possum Kingdom Lake. This serene, gated community offers amenities for residents to enjoy and yearly events to look forward to. It is the only community in Possum Kingdom to offer anywhere from 5-12 acres of land for your spacious lakeside home.
Living in The Hills Above Possum Kingdom Lake
As a resident of The Hills, you’ll have access to the community clubhouse that offers a meeting room, kitchen, and exercise room. The fitness center has commercial grade equipment for your use on your time frame. The clubhouse leads out to the gorgeous community infinity pool where many social events are held.
This development also offers a community lakeside cabin that can be rented, Ritchie Cabin, boat dock, watercraft launch and boat storage. The quaint lakeside cabin is where most monthly POA meetings take place. Be sure to also enjoy the community pond for fishing when the lake gets too busy.
As social chair from 2014-2021, I enjoyed hosting community events with the neighbors throughout the year to get the community together to meet and have fun. Every summer, the Summer Social takes place at either the clubhouse or Ritchie Cabin. Residents can enjoy outdoor games, food and music. In December, there is community Christmas party at the community clubhouse also where adults and kids alike enjoy games and fellowship to celebrate the season and the end of the year.
